🍎 Nutrition & Mealtimes at ACCCP
Our four‑week rotating menu changes twice a year: once in the spring and once in the fall. All meals follow the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines to ensure children receive balanced, nutritious, in-house-cooked options every day.
Our Nutritional Aid, who is SafeServe-certified and has several years of culinary experience, designs menus that feature a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and childhood favorites. We encourage children to try new foods while still offering familiar, comforting choices.
🥣 Breakfast
Children are offered a small, easy “grab‑and‑eat” breakfast from 6:30–7:30 a.m. in their classroom upon arrival.
🌱 Dietary Needs & Modifications
We are happy to accommodate dietary modifications due to allergies, intolerances, or religious practices. Our Director and Cook work closely with families to ensure mealtimes are safe, worry‑free, and inclusive for every child.
