The Iowa Quality for Kids (IQ4K) Rating System is a voluntary initiative supported by Early Childhood Iowa and the Iowa Department of Education. Ankeny Christian Child Care participates in IQ4K because we are committed to continually strengthening the quality of early care and education we provide.

Our program follows enhanced best practices in health, safety, and nutrition, and we use individualized developmental screenings along with lesson plans aligned to the Iowa Early Learning Standards. By choosing to participate in IQ4K, both our administrative team and teaching staff are held to higher standards that promote excellence in early childhood programming.

IQ4K also requires research‑based professional development, ensuring our teachers receive ongoing training that supports high‑quality instruction and responsive care.
