We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

  • Spring Teacher In Service Date (Feb-Apr see school calendar for date)

  • Memorial Day

  • Summer Teacher In Service Date (June-August see school calendar for date)

  • Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Fall Teacher  In Service Date (Sep-Oct see school calendar for date)

  • Thanksgiving Day and the day after

  • Christmas Break (We will be closed for the week of Christmas, see school calendar for specific dates)

Teacher In-Service Training Days

Our staff consists of individuals trained in CPR, First Aid, Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting, Universal Precautions, and other areas of early childhood development. As a participant in IQ4K, our teachers also have to acquire 12 hours of additional training annually above state of Iowa regulations. Due to the amount of required training, Ankeny Christian provides paid in-service training opportunities for their staff as a requirement of employment.  (See In Service Dates above).
