Care Providers

All Care Providers are required to submit to a background and criminal records check. Once they have been hired our employees are required to obtain CPR, First Aid, Blood Bourne Pathogens, and Mandatory Reporter of Child Abuse training within their first 6 months of employment. Teachers are also required to obtain at least 12 hours(+) of Child Development related training each year. Due to the amount of required training, Ankeny Christian Child Care provides paid in-service training opportunities as a requirement of employment.

We believe at Ankeny Christian Child Care our greatest contributor to our quality care is our teachers. We make investing into our teachers a main priority. We participate in many additional programs to recruit and more importantly retain high quality staff. We promote within and provide many voluntary benefits to our teachers to minimize turnover. Consistency is critical to fostering long lasting relationships between children and their care providers.
